More than 30 000 signatures already !
Hi all!
First of all, I want to thank you for staying as diligent during the summer period. Thanks to your extraordinary collaboration, I am pleased to announce that I now have more than 30 000 signatures in hand! Of course, this figure excludes all the petitions that are currently in circulation… This tentative count is therefore proving to be most encouraging.
We will soon begin the last months of the petition. That’s why I remind you how important it is not to let go and start this final sprint with rigour and enthusiasm! To all those who have ideas for events that will take place this fall (congresses, seminars, large gatherings, etc.), I invite you to bring the petition and talk about it if it is appropriate. If you need any promotional material, please do not hesitate to contact me. I also remind you that it will be my pleasure to be present at these events to the extent of my availability.
I can already tell you that the date of the petition will be postponed. In a preliminary way, I inform you that you can, with no problem, collect signatures until mid-October. I will meet Mr. Yves Lessard, Member of Parliament for Chambly-Borduas and spokesperson for the EI file in the House of Commons, next week. Together we will establish what is the best strategy for filing the petition. I will get back to you later with a more precise date.
You will also notice that over the past few weeks I have been a little less present on the blog. Indeed, my health condition forced me to take some rest this summer because I was not in great form. On the other hand, do not worry, I an regaining energy slowly and I will give you news more diligently now. There’s something new in the air, I’ll talk to you soon!
Once again, thank you for your involvement! It is by uniting my efforts and yours that we will make this petition a success!
