Looking for your Testimonials

A quick note to remind you how important your stories are in this adventure.
Did you know that I have received about 2000 testimonials to date, via the blog, email, your handwritten letters, people who have experienced similar situations and who have, for many, lost everything?? Some of your stories are heartbreaking. They remind me why I am waging this fight and give me the strength to continue!
That is why I invite those who have not yet done so, to write to me your story, or that of someone else, over and over again. I would like to use some of your testimonies at the time of the petition, or at another strategic moment, in order to make a human face of this problem. Nothing like true stories to educate others.

I would like to use some of your testimonies when depositing the petition, or at another strategic moment, in order to give a human face to this problem. Nothing like true stories to educate others.
I would also like to draw your attention to another reality. You know, when find yourself in my or your situation, at the end of EI benefits, you are left alone at home, deprived of any financial resources. In a way, we no longer exist in any system for the government, we are no longer counted in any statistics. The government keeps statistics about people receiving benefits, receiving social assistance, and so on. On the other hand, it has no idea how many people find themselves at home, without any income, due to illness. Your testimonies are therefore most important in this regard, we must demonstrate that we are thousands to live this unacceptable situation and unite in order to have more weight.
